Compatible Replacement Ink Damper for VS640 / VS-Series Workflows
This compatible ink damper is used for selected VS-series ink-line maintenance workflows. Ink flow behavior depends on damper fitment, ink type, tube condition, manifold condition, printhead condition, installation, and the actual root cause of the issue.

- VS640, VS540, VS300, VS300i, VS640i, and VS420-compatible workflows.
- Confirm damper shape, connector direction, line orientation, and sealing method before ordering.
Installed Position
- Typically installed between the ink line and the printhead-side manifold where physically compatible.
- Use position and fitment should be checked against the old damper before purchase.
Use Notes
- May be relevant when the old damper is stained, swollen, cracked, blocked, or no longer sealing correctly.
- Ink supply symptoms can also be caused by cap tops, tubes, filters, pump parts, manifold condition, ink condition, or printhead condition.
