Description
This Pump Cap Assy is responsible for cleaning and sealing the printhead during printing and idle periods. The cap maintains airtight sealing to prevent ink from drying out on the nozzle surface, while the pump generates suction pressure to pull ink through the printhead during cleaning cycles. Unlike other printer models, the capping unit of the Drafstation series is integrated with this pump assembly and cannot be purchased separately.
