Roland IR Heater & Blower Dryer (Print-Synchronous)
Compatible with Roland RA-640 / RE-640 / RF-640 / RF-640A / XF-640. A combined infrared heater + blower system designed for modern high-speed printing, accelerating ink fixation and media drying while keeping output quality stable.

- Two sizes available: 1.6 m and 1.8 m.
- Mounting options: hanging bracket or angle-iron floor stand (select as needed).
- Blower module: approx. 80 × 80 × 25 mm footprint.
- IR tube length: ~1690 mm for 1.6 m model.
- Heater and blower can run independently or in combined mode.
- Automatic print-synchronous function: turns on with printing and turns off after job completion.
Thermal & Airflow Design
- High heat-transfer efficiency; reflective panel directs up to ~85% of IR energy toward the media.
- Residual heat is removed by a controlled airflow path to maintain system stability.
- Optimized air ducting provides even, uniform airflow across the print width.
- Surface temperature designed to remain close to ambient for operator safety.
Print-Synchronous Control (GX16 2-pin)
Connector: Aviation plug GX16, 2-core. Wire-1: Red (+), Wire-2: Black (–).
Input: DC 5–24 V, 10–40 mA. (5 V recommended to reduce current.)
Typical signal sources from the printer:
- Print start/stop synchronization output.
- Media/home (origin) sensor.
- Take-up or exhaust fan trigger.
Example (GP1A05 photo-sensor): connect red to Vcc, black to Vo. Other sensors follow similar wiring.
