Installation Guide
- Power off and unplug the printer; wait for electronics to discharge.
- Remove the carriage cover to access the limit sensor bracket.
- Disconnect the 2-pin plug and remove the screws/clips holding the sensor.
- Install the new sensor in the same orientation; tighten gently.
- Reconnect the plug; ensure the cable is routed without pinch points.
- Power on and run a carriage/home test in service menu to verify triggering.
Quick Checks if Issue Persists
- Clean the interrupter flag on the carriage and the sensor slot (no dust/ink).
- Confirm the carriage flag passes centrally through the slot during homing.
- Inspect wiring harness for breaks; reseat the mainboard connector.
