Check the Complete Ink Route
Ink may contact cartridge or bag connectors, bulk tanks, valves, tubing, joints, filters, dampers, pumps, caps, the printhead and the waste path. Residue from the previous ink matters too.

Can Eco-Solvent Ink Go Into an Ordinary Inkjet Printer?
Not unless the printer manufacturer explicitly approves that exact ink system. A desktop aqueous or EcoTank printer is not made compatible by sharing the word “inkjet” or a printhead brand. The wrong fluid may affect tubing, seals, dampers, capping, ventilation, waste handling, printhead operation and electronics.
